An Ordertaker/Cashier with Hilton Hotels and Resorts is responsible for answering the In Room Dining telephone and taking the guests order in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner. He/She enters the orders into a computerized system and is responsible for totaling and processing the purchase in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?
As an Ordertaker/Cashier, you would responsible for answering the In Room Dining telephone and taking the Guest orders in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner. In addition, you enter the orders into a computerized system and are responsible for totaling and processing the purchase in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Promptly answers room service telephone and takes guest orders accurately in a helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. Announce any specials, promote menu items and answer questions regarding preparation methods.
Immediately input order information into the point of sale system, allowing kitchen staff to begin preparation; noting any special requests clearly. Give food server hard copy of check to be delivered with order.
Document orders, repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy and quote expected arrival time with speed and accuracy
Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests and servers to include, but not limited to, using the point of sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates.
Ascertain guest satisfaction and work to resolve any guest issues or concerns, enlisting the assistance of a supervisor, if necessary.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Work efficiently in a team environment towards the Hotels Goals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
