What will I be doing? A Bartender with Hilton Grand Vacations has a dynamic personality; they are a self-starter with a strong service ethic. They are someone who enjoys the challenge of working alone and who possesses the experience and skill level to perform the following range of F&B Daily Tasks to include but not limited to: order taking, recording sales on a Micros POS terminal, cooking to Hilton Standards, preparing alcoholic drinks to Hilton drink standards, bussing, cleaning, setting-up and breaking-down of outlet and administrative tasks (ie. banking out, inventorying and ordering). Must possess or obtain a Hawaii County Department of Liquor Control 'Blue Card'. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following: Knowledge of liquor drink preparation and other prepared beverages able to set up bar daily with liquor bottle display, restocking of supplies, ice and garnishes. Prepare and serve other cold beverages such as beer, wine and smoothies. Collect appropriate payment for beverages served as well as any food served in the outlet area. Food preparation of hot and cold menu items utilizing flat top grill, oven and fryer. Set-up food preparation area as well as prep necessary food items. Utilize FIFO inventory practice for the storage of all food items. Collect appropriate payment for food served as well as any beverages served in the outlet area. Perform end of day banking out procedures in compliance with all Property Cash Handling Standards Perform end of day outlet cleaning and lock up duties, using standard cleaning products as assigned by your manager. What are we looking for? EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required EXPERIENCE Must have previous food & beverage experience Must have cash handling experience Cooking and bartending experience strongly preferred Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Must be available to work varying days and shifts between the hours of 10am and 8pm LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS Liquor Control Blue Card preferred OTHER Sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
