Position Summary:
To ensure 100% recipe adherence, adherence to Company operating procedures as well as adherence to Company and local health and sanitation standards. To optimize profits by controlling food cost and production. To develop back of the house restaurant employees and increase sales. To manage all operational issues ensuring Company standards of quality and service are met.
This is a full-time salaried exempt position and is not eligible for over-time.
Essential Job Functions:
Manages shifts which include daily decision making, staff support, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness. Manages staffing throughout shift including deciding when employees can check out for the day. Provides employees with positive and negative feedback and takes appropriate action.
Performs line checks throughout shift.
Provides direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
Ensures food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products.
Prepares for new menu implementations.
Trains employees on new menu implementations.
Ensures recipe adherence and ticket times.
Develops back of the house employee through training and shift meetings.
Enforces uniform standards. Provides feedback and follow-up.
Interviews all hourly back of house employees.
Prepares daily food production and par as necessary. Orders produce as required.
Ensures restaurant has adequate inventory of necessary food items to support business. Ensures restaurant does not run out of ingredients necessary to execute menu.
Ensures safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Completes accident reports promptly in the event a guest or employee is injured.
Ensures that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets.
Must keep back of the house clean and sanitized; passing all Health inspections with a 90% or more.
Must pass manager food handlers course.
Projects and/or tasks as assigned by the Executive Kitchen Manager and the Corporate Executive Chef.
Must have ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Ability to work varying shifts and maintain attendance in accordance with Company policy.
Must have advanced knowledge of food preparation.
Must have the ability to operate a keyboard and POS system.
Must have the ability to pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and have a high level of patience.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of Five (5) years experience in a full service restaurant.
Excellent verbal communication and analytical skills required
Special Working Conditions:
Position requires extensive interaction with the public and all levels of employees' both within and outside of organization.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an environment where there may be regular exposure to noise, odors, fumes, temperature fluctuations, grease and other conditions associated with a restaurant.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to obtain and store food, beverage items, smallwares and service equipment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Vision abilities to include: distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral. Also the ability to adjust focus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
